Join the Future of Silent Communication: Help Us Restore Speech with AI!
We’re looking for participants to join our Pioneer Program to test and help demonstrate a groundbreaking wearable AI-powered headset that translates lip movements into speech or text.
What makes this project revolutionary?
Our groundbreaking AI wearable headset is designed to transform communication for individuals who are non-verbal or living with speech challenges, including those who have undergone or are preparing for laryngectomy surgery. By reading lip movements and converting them into speech or text, this technology offers a revolutionary way to restore voices and improve lives.
We are seeking participants to join our Pioneer Program to help demonstrate its potential and provide valuable feedback as we refine this prototype. Join us in shaping the future of silent communication! Learn more about this exciting opportunity and express your interest today.
Prototype demonstration video
This early prototype demonstrates the core functionality of our AI wearable headset. While the design of the wearable device is still in progress, the video highlights its ability to read lip movements and convert them into synthetic speech.
The lack of smiling during silent speech recognition in the video is due to the prototype being trained on limited data. This demonstrates the proof of concept but requires refinement to handle varied facial expressions, like smiling.
Imagine the final version: sleek, user-friendly, and capable of adapting to diverse expressions—and your feedback can help us get there!
With your support, we can refine the technology and bring this vision to life.

What to expect as a Pioneer Program participant?
Sign Up: Express interest through the form below.
Voice Sampling (if pre-surgery): Record your natural voice to create a personalised speech model (if applicable).
Train the Headset: During the development stage, the headset requires a training session to adapt to your lip movements. This step ensures optimal performance for creating demo videos or testing. Note: In the final product, this training will not be necessary, as the technology will work universally.
Test the Device: Participate in creating demo videos showcasing the wearable in action. This includes the opportunity to try it yourself and provide valuable feedback.
Provide Feedback: Share your experience to help us refine the technology and improve the design.
Frequently asked questions
What is this device, and how does it work?
The device is a headset that reads lip movements and converts them into synthetic speech or text using AI.
Who can participate?
We are looking for individuals who are non-verbal or living with speech challenges, including those who have undergone, or are about to undergo, laryngectomy surgery.
We are also interested in connecting with clinicians such as oncologists, ear-nose-throat surgeons, and speech pathologists, who work with patients who would benefit from speech restoration.
What is required of me?
Participation involves working with Tepy.ai to train a headset. This includes making a video of it working and sharing their feedback, helping us refine and improve the technology.
We may also ask for your permission to use the video to demonstrate our technology to others.
Is it safe?
Yes, the device is non-invasive and completely safe.
Will I be compensated?
At this stage, we are unable to offer compensation for your time. Participants who give permission to share video footage of themselves using the device will receive a free headset when the final product is released, even if their video is not selected for use. This footage will only be used to demonstrate the technology, and each video selected for use will require your approval.
By volunteering, you will play a vital role in helping Tepy.ai demonstrate the potential of this groundbreaking technology, which could pave the way for future funding and opportunities to support participants.
